How I responded:
I had a chip on my shoulder that created a work ethic and determination to overcome whatever it took to win. I was ok with working harder and longer than others because I knew who I wanted to prove wrong and/or what I wanted to obtain.
Experiences and challenges that shaped me
I did not have the money to attend the college of my choice so I attended a state school, got a full scholarship, walked onto the basketball team, and worked a job part-time to cover my rent.
