1.
Around 7th grade I began to not invest in schools as much, I only focused on social relationships and did not care about the academic part of my school life.
2.
Math was my favorite subject but due to an absence of my math teacher through out 7th grade I lost the knowledge, I felt there was gap in between my learning.
3.
In high school I just winged it most of the time. I was an A-B student. I just did the assignments but I didn't really " Focus" on anything I liked. JROTC was my favorite class.
4.
In my Sophomore yr. my Sgt. from JROTC asked me if I wanted the position of an Officer for the Battalion. I accepted it because I felt I had a special purpose, someone noticed my dedication.
5.
Throughout my years in H.S I winged it on core classes, I began getting C's for math class, but to make up for it I involved myself in many organizations.
6.
I had a Counselor named Ms. Gilb who was the one who actually got me thinking and worrying about my future, she was a freshman advisor but I would still go to her instead of my assigned advisor.
7.
Through many runs back and forth to colleges, delivering transcripts, applying, I ended up at Texas A&M University- Commerce.

Defining Moments
How I responded to discouragement
THE NOISE
Messages from Society in general:
You're studying art? You're not gonna make any money. What can you even do with an art degree?
How I responded:
Honestly, do something you love. Plain and simple. If you're dedicated to this profession, then DO IT! Also, if it's something you want to be doing someday, then set some projects for yourself. DON'T JUST DO WHAT THE SCHOOL GIVES YOU FOR ASSIGNMENTS. If you do no invest in nothing, you will gain nothing.
