It takes a lot of years of school to become a nurse or work in the medical field.
How I responded:
Some discouragement I faced was the schooling—how many years you have to be in school to become a nurse or to be in the medical field. Also not having motivation to get through the schooling, but you just have to push through it.
Experiences and challenges that shaped me
I had a detraction in the beginning because my father passed, but over the years it encouraged me to be where I am today.
